Every listing on Heat Pumps Expert comes from a public register — primarily MCS Find an Installer, and Google Maps where an installer isn't on that register but appears in local search. We do not accept payment to be listed — payment can only ever secure a labelled "Featured" position, never a place in the underlying dataset.

What a badge means

A certification badge links directly to that installer's own entry on the public register — click it to verify the claim yourself. A listing with no badge, marked "Listed from Google Maps; certification not verified", means we found the business via local search but it did not appear on the register at the time of our last check. That is not a judgement on their work — only a note on what we could verify.

Refresh cadence

We re-pull the underlying register on a monthly cycle. Installers who leave the register are removed from badged listings on the next refresh.

Claim, correct, or remove

Any installer can claim their listing for free, ask us to correct a detail, or ask us to remove their listing entirely — removal requests are honoured the same working day. Use the "Claim / correct / remove" link on your listing, or our contact page.
